Why we are losing the cyber security war

EPSCO-Ra is organizing an open seminar on the 13th of November at 14:00 at Fairmont Hotel in Hamburg and on the 20th of November at 15:00 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Limassol, Ballroom Suite A. 

The two-hour seminar 'Why we're losing the cyber security war & what you should be doing about it' will be presented by Gideon Lenkey, Director of Technology, EPSCO-Ra.
This is an opportunity to look at how companies fail despite putting money and effort behind cyber security initiatives.

Mr. Lenkey will discuss some common mistakes that lead to catastrophic failures, and will talk about the hallmarks of an effective program such as using existing cyber security frameworks and how to integrate them into an organization.
He has presented at various Digital Ship conferences and recently made a presentation to the Singapore Shipping Association. He contributes every month to BeCyberAware at Sea campaign and the Phish & Ships newsletter.

Mr. Lenkey has consulted on information security matters since 1989. He specializes in assessing and testing the security posture of enterprise IT infrastructures and managing enterprise cyber security initiatives. He has provided advanced training to the FBI and has been consulted by both foreign and domestic government agencies.

Mr. Lenkey is a past president of the FBI's InfraGard program in New Jersey and has been recognized by FBI Director Robert Muller on multiple occasions for his accomplishments. He regularly lectures, writes and grants interviews on cyber security topics.
In 2011 Mr. Lenkey co-authored "Gray Hat Hacking" third edition for McGraw Hill and is featured in the film documentary "Code 2600".
