It was memorable to spend another fruitful and dynamic weekend with CLIA Europe Brussels team.
Further to our first event in February, the team travelled to Cyprus for their second team building with me, on the 25th and 26th of August.
I was very happy to meet Andriani and to see Marieke, Caroline, Martyn, Paul and Nikos.
In the context of my customized games and exercises, the team members spent time learning from each other’s experiences and unique stories. They reflected on what is important to their Association in its mission, and to the Association's Members, in their quest for the best service.
It was very inspirational to realize how the team members were communicating with each other. When people take time to learn about one another, when they commit to work under pressure as well as laugh together, have fun and share memories, then they are able to form meaningful relationships and become engaged in what they do.
Following up on the work we started together in February, the Brussels team enthusiastically achieved a series of engaging initiatives, committing to continuous learning and success.
The result of my team building activity has strengthened even more the existing teamwork and cooperation, around the values of Brussels team and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Europe.
Every team is unique in its way of communicating and working together. When conscious efforts are made to understand perceptions, emotions and communication styles, the culture of a group can shift towards high performance.
